I can't believe that I made a card that does not involve any ink or stamps! LOL
I am totally hooked on making scalloped edge medallion cards now. If you haven't tried this technique you have to! It is so much fun and super easy to do! Here is a link to the SCS tutorial on how to make them.
I pierced a border around the ski slope dp mat and adhered it the a larger riding hood red mat. I tied a length of riding hood red taffeta ribbon around these mats and used dimensionals to pop them off a whisper white cardbase.
I punched the three smaller whisper white, riding hood red and baja breeze mats using the scalloped edge punch. I trimmed the outside border off the baja breeze mat and adhered all three together.
I added a layered baja breeze and riding hood red little felt flurries snowflake to the center a small whisper white mat. I added a clear rhinestone brad from the pretties kit to the center of the snowflakes and matted them on a larger riding hood red mat. This mat was adhered to the medallion mats and then popped off the center of the cardfront with dimensionals.

I have to let you know that I was wondering about your beautiful card and where I can get the felt flurry snowflake you used? Well, I posted the picture on a forum, just to inquire about the snowflakes and I want to let you know that I got so many people telling me how beautiful this card is and was wondering how you made it. Sent them right to you, so expect a lot of hits.
Thanks again for sharing such a beautiful card...but I still am on my quest for the felt snowflakes?
Where did you get it? Stampin' UP? And you bought all the small sizes for cards? In all the different colors?
Thanks for your help and TFS,
