I have never used any of my filigree decorative brads so I thought I would pair them the Always set and create a Valentine's card with them.
The large whisper white and pretty in pink mat corners were punched using the ticket corner punch. I stamped the branch and berries image and the dotted flower image from the Always set in pretty in pink ink on the large pretty in pink mat. I added white gel pen dot accents to these images. I added a pierced border around the edges of this mat. The two mats were adhered together and popped off the chocolate chip cardbase with dimensionals.
I stamped the "for you" sentiment from the All Holidays set in chocolate chip ink on scrap whisper white cardstock. I used the small oval punch to punch the image out and then I pulled pretty in pink ink off the edges. This small oval was adhered to a larger punched chocolate chip mat and adhered in the lower right corner of my cardfront.
I used the big shot and scallop envelope die to create a chocolate chip envelope for the focal point on my card. I adhered a length of whisper white taffeta ribbon around this envelope. I stamped the large heart from the Always set twice in chocolate chip ink on scrap pretty in pink cardstock. I cut the images out and added white gel pen accents to them. I decided to display one heart inside the envelope and the other on the outside.
I inked the large flower image from the Always set with chocolate chip ink and stamped it on scrap whisper white cardstock. I cut the image out and pulled pretty in pink ink off the edges. I adhered it to the edge of the heart on the outside of the envelope and added a large filigree designer brad to the center of the flower image. This heart was adhered to the front of envelope with dimensionals. A white gel pen dot was added to each corner of the chocolate chip cardbase.
