Strawberry Surprise

I made this trio of goodies for my hostesses last month and I wanted to share them with you.

The strawberry basket was made using old olive, rose red and whisper white cardstock and rose red designer paper.  I used Lauren Meader's nestabilities basket tutorial to create my basket and I filled it with some stamping goodies and three cute little paper crafted strawberries.

The card was inspired by stephanie.hargis's (SCS) sweet apple card.  I pretty much kept most of the elements the same with the exception of using the strawberry stamp and changing the sentiment. Here is a link to Stephanie's card - http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/887160?cat=12786 .

Featured Stamper Challenge

I'm,back!!!  Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but I had some projects that I had to finish.   I decided to stop participating in the SCS  challenges until all the projects were done.  I finished the last of the wedding invitations on Friday!

 

Today's featured stamper on SCS is Denise (Peanutbee) and her gallery is full of wonderful cards.  I decided to use my neglected Papertrey Ink stamps, cardstock and ink for this challenge.  The stamp sets I used are Garden of Life and Beautiful Blooms.  The cardstock and ink colors are summer sunrise and lemon tart.  These colors are so pretty - a perfect combination for these sets and this challenge.  I added some satin lemon tart ribbon and rhinestone accents to my card.  I hope you enjoy this creation.
